Jon Kerr is a country-folk solo artist from Essex in the UK, and signed to Tonotopic Records in late 2017 after being discovered by local A&R. His love of creative writing began at an early age with poetry, and later turned to songwriting as he taught himself guitar and attended acting school where he learned to sing.

 

His passion for traveling and being outdoors have helped shape his style lyrically, and artists such as Johnny Cash, Ed Sheeran and Tim McGraw have been an important source of inspiration when creating.

 

His first single ‘In The Sky’ was recorded in Southend-on-sea, where Jon continues to write and perform. His follow up 'Dusty Road' was recorded in London and tracks for his upcoming EP are being worked on throughout the year.
